Random Babbling and Venting...
OK, I'm upset, yes, there I said it. I can't find my very expensive camera anywhere. I think I may have left it at my sons football game, and someone stole it. I have checked everywhere. If there's a where, I have checked there. I have, now in total, caught 8 mice since we have lived here. The salamander was cute so he doesn't count as a rodent. That's fine, I could move past that if....if it weren't for the fact that this football season someone stole (someone from the visitor's team) Lance Albern's very expensive, very irreplaceable, very nice, very Nike, football cleats. Which in turn we purchased 29.99 dollar cleats as replacements. I still need to paint the rest of my room, the upstairs hallway, replace outlets...My dear husband and I are coming up with countless ways to save money. I don't drive, virtually a shut-in. Which, I am OK with 'cause we are paying on 11 acres every month that I can play on, or burn down, whichever I feel like at the moment. Which reminds me we have to cut firewood this weekend. So, we will be burning some of the trees. Yep. I think I'll move to Australia... I'm feeling overwhelmed with the Holidays comin', with basketball comin'- shoes, fees, uniforms, driving...I need to put on a sad movie and cry, but that gives me a headache. I need to go for a walk, but that sounds painful... I need to take pictures of the beautiful fall leaves that are ALMOST OFF THE TREES, oh wait, I can't, but someone else probably is, with my camera....I think I'll move to Australia. Oh, wait, doesn't Australia have socialized medicine? So, my husband wouldn't make a dime.....great! I could go on, but I have so much positive that it makes the bad look small. In reality overlooking all this, I am so dearly blessed with a great husband that tells me I am beautiful everyday, and his nickname for me is "gorgeous." My kids are doing wonderful. My daughter and son are the best teenagers alive. They tell me everything in their lives. My daughter told her friends the other day that she can't wait till Fridays because then she can hang out with her family! Hunter is de-stinkering as we speak. He is doing great at school and is coming into his own. Trapper is adorable and anal retentive, which for a 7 year old is quite adorable. He cracks me up every day. He could run this house better than me. Fisher asks questions everyday to "get ready for school" he's got to "get smart." His material is amazing!Last week he asked me if worms change into butterflies. I laughed my head off, and it gets better than that. Rider was giggling on my bed the other night yelling out "I'm gonna kill ya, mom!" as I was tickling him. Makes a mom proud. If you made it to the bottom of this post I commend you!

You Lori darling are totally amazing to me & with your family.... Hang in There with those monkey's......
remember life sucks and then you die lol
Hey--do I need to come out there and chop firewood at your side, paint your hallway and lend you my camera? You know I would be there in a heartbeat if I could stinkin' afford an airline ticket on a resident's salary! Lor, I'm sorry for stuff that bugs! And notice I didn't comment on handling the mice issue...that one darling, has got to be you because it gives me the gags just thinking about it. But I still say, it's a darn small price to pay for 11 acres! I wish I could be in on your chats with Shy...I miss her, and chatting with her. And I miss you. If I could I'd grab my axe and chop some wood with you, just so that we could catch up and laugh and vent and laugh some more. Would you make me your homeade oreos? It would make our chat just right wouldn't it? loves, Jes
Hey Lori,
sounds like your having fun out there, even with all your "issues" that seem to be poping up!! We miss you guys and hope everything is good!
Thank you! You girls are wonderful. The mice are tiny and cute, but not on a glue board on my kitchen counters gooey and...OK, that's enough. Jess, I would love to hang out and vent and eat homeade oreos. Shylee could pipe in, too, about her Hot Topics! Resident's salary...enough said!! Take a pic for me!
I am glad to hear that things are going alright out there. We miss seeing you guys, since we saw each other so often, but with you close I knew there was a better chance of actually seeing you. You are a strength to me. Keep it up. Love ya
I made it to the end of your post because you're absolutely hilarious when you tirade! I am truly sorry about the stolen camera and cleats. Leaves a sour taste in your mouth, doesn't it?
Just be patient, things will work out, and you're smart to look at all the blessings you have with your family. Really, would you rather have tons of money or the great husband and kids you have now? Yeah, that's what I thought. Love you!
lori, sounds like a royal stink bomb but then you added all the good and there was a lot of good. Just remember "this too shall pass"
Like all bad chinese, this too shall pass. It's so true. Mellissa, you are hilarious! Thanks! I am moving over the hump. I purchased a camera (used on ebay). I think it will work out. It's one that I looked at before I chose the other. It's not a SLR (different lenses, etc.) but I think it will still be nice. Love ya~Lori
WHAT? Your camera? That is awful. The person who stole it will be cursed and never have any good pictures from it. I'll pray for that! :) Really, I will. You know I feel the camera pain. :) Hey, I've tried calling you everyday for weeks now...okay, not really. I know, I'm lame. But, someday I will actually get around to getting to know my family again (by calling the girls - not the guys)and give you a little ring on the phone. Luv ya and miss ya!
Hey Cute Lady... I can always count on you to bring a smile to my face!! I am so sorry about your camera, I would be ticked off too. And the mice...you are a trooper. I would probably cry and go off on Wes blaming him for all the mice. You are a good woman to see the positive in everything. I have always admired that about you:)
