Another day, another snowfall. But who's complaining? Not me! I know that my friend, Erica, is enjoying her days in sunny side up California, and yes, I have days where I am jealous of her and her short-sleeve shirted family at Sea World. On the other hand, it's pretty spectacular to see glistening snow all around and a nice wood burning fireplace glowing in the living room. Sure, I have to stoke it every so often and there are wood chips from heck to breakfast in our living room, but who's complaining? Not me!

is enjoying frolicking in the flakes!
We are about to have a new septic put in, so the backhoe is out on our front lawn calling to the boys
"Come play on me!"
The guy who left it here actually told me to let the kids climb on it and have some fun! Isn't that cool? Maybe we could have our boys do some yard work, while they're at it! The nice part of all this, is that we aren't paying for this splendid event to take place, it's in escrow from the sellers of our home! It's reminiscent of Grandpa's backhoe and the kids getting the biggest kick out of watching and (of course) helping him move gravel and dig holes!

I always wanted a back hoe in my front yard. I'm so jealous. No, seriously, Riley would figure out how to drive the thing and all heck would break loose! I'm glad you're enjoying the snow - could you please send me some of your positive-toward-snow attitude? Thank you.
Sorry, it really is difficult for me to read that and not say "ha ha". You're an awesome gal. It must have been those alaska winters that helped you to be so positive about the cold weather. I would be complaining a lot. But I could probably fake positiveness for my blog. :)
You chicks are hilarious!!! The backhoe is pretty darn cool:) It's like the boytoy lawn ornament of the century:) About the cold, I might just need to take a vacation to a warm place for a week or two and that would be nice!! The vacation would have to be free to the pocket book, and include virgin pina colada, as Mellissa knows:) Erica, so nice to see you having fun:)
