Lance Albern turned 14 yesterday!! Honestly it is still trying to sink in. I went and bought him birthday candles the night before and I threw a 1 and a 3 in the cart. Then a few minutes later I realized I needed a 1 and a 4!!!!! 14? Shylee is a few months from becoming 16. It just bewilders me...
Lance Albern is a kick-back kid. He wanted money and to go to the mall with 2 of his friends. So, that's what he did. And in turn he bought 2 shirts and a zip up jacket.
Then we came home and we had cake and ice cream. He talked on the phone to Grandpa and Grandma right before he blew out his candles. They sang him their ghastly rendition of Happy Birthday :)
I love fall. I love pumpkins, candles, cinnamon rolls, warm glowing fires, and celebrating birthdays!!!

That's crazy that Lance is 14...and Shylee is so close to turning 16. It makes me tired, and they're not my kids! :) Are the trees gorgeous there while they're changing in the fall?
