The kids and I are out in Utah, but Lance had to go back to Ohio for work (residency).
Rider loves his dad soooooo very much. Rider misses his dad soooooo very much.
He has came up with the slickest maneuver to try to get to see his dad. The last week he has been coming up to me, whimpering, and saying- "my tomach hurts," or "my arm hurts," or "my leg hurts." Then he says "I need to see me docker-daddy (doctor-daddy)."
It is so very sad. He will come up with complaints during the day of is ailments, so that he can go see his "doctor-daddy." It is heart-breaking.
He has been talking on the phone a lot to try and ease the pain :) He will go into another room and have his conversation with his dad.
As sad as the story is, I am so glad that Rider has such an amazing buddy as his dad is to him. I am so grateful for the relationship Lance has with all of our children and me :)
To all the great fathers out there- Happy Fathers Day!
and to the best dad in all my children's world-
Happy Father's Day Lance- AKA: Docker-daddy!

Wow, it looks like Lance is rocking a serious 'stache in that picture.. :)
How cute! Kids are amazing little negotiators, aren't they? I hope Rider can make it until he sees his doctor-daddy again.
Lindsey~ My hubby would put Jeremiah Johnson to shame! I love the burly facial hair. I wish I could do Mellissa's "Raaaar!"
How long are you in Utah? I will be at Duck Creek for 4th of July...let me know! I miss you and would love to see you!
Lori, you're home...for a few minutes. Yeah. Poor Rider missing his daddy and his doctor...double whammy! Very Cute. Hope you are doing well. By the way what's the deal with Cally and Jessi? You need to get on their case to update.
